Regular, systematic expository Bible teaching

Discuss It

  1. Why is evaluation absolutely essential to improving the church’s teaching ministry?
  2. Why do you think the speaker placed such emphasis on inspiring application of the Word of God when teaching?

Apply It

  1. Have a meeting with all the elders and see if all are in agreement concerning a philosophy for teaching the church on Sunday morning.
  2. Communicate to the congregation the elders’ agreed-upon philosophy of teaching on Sunday morning. The congregation will be greatly helped if they know what to expect from the elders on Sunday mornings as to the teaching.
